Indoor/outdoor table top oil burner

  
This Indoor/outdoor oil lamp/burner is made from real copper and brass plumbing fixtures that feature a stainless steel grill, inside which you can find 100% natural cotton to hold the fuel. This is all supported by a chunky and sturdy live edge slab of Oak coated in Danish oil. The Base also has thermally toughened glass windows (BS EN 12150) on either side that are removable. This all helps keep the lamp bottom heavy and thus, extremely stable.

The base also has rubber feet for extra grip. For extinguishing, you'll find a sculptured copper snuff to place over the grill which looks great when not in use. The lamp works on the same principle as a penny stove, in which capillary action draws the fuel upwards and thus the cotton inside only acts as a vessel for the fuel rather than a combustion element. For this reason the cotton will rarely need to be changed but when it does, we've made it incredibly easy. Any lamp oil can be used as fuel but i recommend the smokeless, odourless types. Approx burn time of 30 - 40 min. Essential oils can also be added to the fuel mixture if desired.

Bog standard lighter fluid will also be needed to get the fire going. Copper parts are now brazed together creating joints stronger than the copper its self. The jointing material containing silver, copper and phosphorus has a melting point of over 500°C ensuring that no matter the oil used to light your lamp, it will never be hotter than the melting point of the joints!
