So the company sent us another one. The scratch is pretty small, and it will be really easy to make it disappear with a tiny bit of matt black paint (or even a marker pen)! We love this fire, its like a wood burner, but with none of the hassle. As it burns bioethanol, it does not need a flue (chimney), because the only bi-product is carbon dioxide. There isn't even any smoke, so you can put it in pretty much any room, and even move it around quite easily. Its so easy to light. It warms up the room really well, the flame is nice to look at, and it makes a lovely piece of furniture too. Also included are the brand new glove and poker that came with the fire.
