Beautiful Antique French Stove Bio Ethanol Fire
This is a wonderfully enamelled Godin Model 400 stove, manufactured around 1930 and originally designed to burn coal. The stove still retains its front, removable front ash catcher. Godin were probably the only maufacturer at the time that produced this remarkable marbled effect enamel. What is interesting, is that the actual design, regardless of colour followed the same pattern. With its new stainless steel bio ethanol burner the stove does not require a chimney or flue. The stove is 100% efficient; no heat being lost via a flue or chimney.
The burner is easy to access and refill using the provided hand pump. The stove is fitted with a modified firebox , suitable for bioethanol use.
The stove can be sited in any room, remembering that like all stoves it will get very hot! One litre of bio ethanol fuel, gas lighter, manual pump and instructions will be supplied with the stove. I will be happy to advise on any technical details, historical details or installation/operation questions.The stove has the following, approximate, dimensions and burner specifications. Burner: Stainless Steel, capacity 1.0 liter. Burn time: aproximately 4hr, depending on operating conditions. Output: aproximately 1.5 kw maximum, depending on operating conditions.
